User guide¶
The screens¶
The menu on the left (on a phone: the bar at the bottom, with the rest under More) is grouped the same way you work:
| Group | Screen | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Work | Home | What needs attention today |
| Intake | Log drives as they arrive | |
| Drives | Find any drive; see its history | |
| Batches | Box drives for the recycler and mark them picked up | |
| Certificates | Match the recycler's certificate to the drives and approve it | |
| Customers | Letters | Destruction letters for customers |
| Customers | Move drives logged under the wrong customer | |
| Insight & admin | Reports | Monthly destruction, inventory, customer history… |
| Audit log | Every change, who made it and when | |
| Admin | Users, connections, settings |
You only see the screens your access level allows.
A drive's life¶
| Status | Means | Moves on when |
|---|---|---|
| Received | Logged at intake, on the shelf | It's added to an open batch |
| Staged | In an open batch (in the box) | The batch is marked picked up |
| Picked up | The recycler has it | Its certificate is approved |
| Certified | The certificate proves it was destroyed. Final. | — |
| Voided | Logged by mistake (Admin, with a reason) | An Admin can un-void it |
A drive listed on a certificate but not found in the batch, or the other way round, never gets a special status: the difference is shown on the certificate review, where it is decided.
The top bar¶

- Theme: dark or light, remembered on this device.
- Documentation: opens this site.
- ?: keyboard shortcuts, links into this guide, and the running version.
